And, for a change, the English-speaking world is to get this phone before Asia does! This latest incarnation from the Wistron company is a far cry from its earlier SP230 model for which we had the scoop review last year. With Windows Mobile 5.0 running on a 520 MHz XScale PXA272 and all the connectivity you’d want plus a 1.3 MP camera this would be a serious contender if you’re looking for an all-in-one device."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/moboDA3360-%284%29.JPG" /><br /><br />An interesting new device with the look of a smartphone but the heart of a PPC/PE. Enjoy reading about this device with almost anything you could ever want in it!

Cool device - English speaking world too - hmmm... 10-1 says that it is the UK - the USA would certainly be the last to get something cool like this - sigh...

If a keyboard isn't important to you, than this is the way to go.
Dedicated buttons for dialing is somuch better than having only soft buttons.

Okay, I'm sold. When will this thing be in the US and where can I get it?

For about a year I'm desperately waiting for a PPCPE in this formfactor for many of my colleagues:
A PPC is necessary for calendar and email everywhere (syncing with Exchange) using a secure VPN solution (Sonicwall).
A GSM phone with "real" buttons is necessary for easy dialing outgoing calls. Without this I won't have a chance to get a converged device accepted and carrying around 2 separate devices won't be accepted either.

I hope this won't be vapourware and will be introduced in The Netherlands very soon.
In April and May I saw a few articles about an upcoming device from Asus (formfactor similar to Sony Ericsson P900) and about the Samsung i750, both with dedicated dial buttons and both expected in the third quarter of 2005.
The Samsung i750 is now anounced to be released in 2006 and from the Asus unfortunately is never heared again.
