So let's get some details out in the open right away. Firstly, it's not really black (despite O2's heavy advertising). Secondly, although a free 256MB SD card is included with the device, it still features the exact same specifications as the original Xda II mini. Compare it with the i-mate JAM Limited Edition, which managed to go one-up on the original JAM by including 128MB RAM (as well as other assorted software). Finally, in case you're wondering, the Xda II mini Limited Edition still includes Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, and will only be available in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, India, and Indonesia. Oh, and if you manage to scoop up one of these devices, you'll get a cheesy certificate to go with it. ;)

Pocket PC Techs (http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main~unit~iMATE_JAM-281~area~upgrades-ram.htm) provides the service.

Yes, it's true that it won't be available in the USA. For what it's worth, O2 doesn't really have a strong presence in America, so it's not surprising to see this being made available in Asia only.
