I'm very intersted in buying a Toshiba E800 Pocket PC.
Since I don't live in the U.S, Can someone
tell me please, Are brand new ones still
available- I see that they are in some internet
stores, but I know that Toshiba saldly
has quit the pocket pc market quite a long ago.

Unfortunately, no. Right after Toshiba left the market, retailers sold the devices at heavily discounted prices to help get rid of old stock. Any e800/e805s you see being sold in internet stores are likely to be very old stock and/or second-hand.

The 800 series are great devices. Its too bad none of them will get a WM5.0 upgrade.

Mine still meets my needs though.

As you may well know, many companies might sell basically the same product with differences in europe. Over there bluetooth is much more popular than wifi so you'll see the e800 with bluetooth there. I just saw a couple of auctions on ebay for brand new e800 with bluetooth for $250.00 buy it now. it's aggravating that I spent nearly 600 for mine right before they quit making them but it's a great machine. No one really takes advantage of it because it's the only one like it but it's nice to have the power.

I've got my eye on the convergence scene and I really want persistent storage. But I'm really happy with my e830.
