Have you tried the flash player/plugin for PPC? It's available (hidden actually) somewhere on Macromedia's website.

OT: This is the second time today I've answered this question - very odd.

It's here: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/pocketpc/2002.html

hi
i already have flash ppc player installed... just visit www.stickcricket.com (amongst many flash enabled sites that dont work on PIE) there on that page is a flash game that you wont be able to access...
also if you head over to any flash site or a site that pops open a java script in a popup window that wont work either....

anyway, regarding my original question about the ticker ??? can it be done???
thanks

How about try another browser - PIE is pretty bad at rendering anything at all.

Try Netfront and thunder hawk.
Netfront has much better javascript handling than IE and thunderhawk a subscription service is basically a proxy servcie
