Setting up email

I have just opened a hotmail account and I can't use the email functionallity on my pocket pc to download them. I am running windows mobile 2003. It currently only allows POP3 or IMAP4. Hotmail requires HTTP. What can I do? Can anyone advise? Many thanks :-)

I tried a bunch of the different programs with my PPC, but found that only HTTPMail Provider worked properly, and easily.

The price was great too, but in the end I decided I didn't need hotmail on my machine so didn't purchase it. It did have a 15 day trial though.

Are you talking access via the sync or wirelessly?

If wirelessly, you may want to try accessing this site on your computer first -

http://mobile.msn.com/hm/folder.aspx

It will likely do a re-direct to an impossibly long address that appears to give access to Hotmail via .NET Passport. Anyhoo, this may be the link you want to stick into Mobile Favorites for access.

I'm only guessing here - I use Yahoo! Mail myself and it is a significantly less convoluted route....

What app do you use or how do you configure Yahoo Mail? Rogers in Canada has partnered with Y! and I actually access the Yahoo site for webmail. I'd love to have the setup for Yahoo, since the POP settings on my PPC are a little slow, and usually fail when I am away from home (wireless) etc.
