Memory in use goes up %10 through the day.

After soft reset my memory is 31%. After using the ppc for half a day memory is 45%. Both percentages are with no programs running. Is normal? If not what program will keep my memory free?

If you have run any programs during the day, some memory will always be taken up even after you close them.

Right. Some programs are better than others at effectively releasing the memory that's used. In my experience, media-related apps (like Audible, for example) are notoriously bad at letting go of memory. It's a pain, but the best thing to do might be to simply do a soft reset once in awhile when it's convenient.
