Arrgh!

I let Windows Media (version 10 in ROM) on my HP rx3115 play overnight -- fell asleep, don't ya know.

Wake up and Windows Media has stopped playing. Now it's blind to the music files on my Storage Card.

I can click on any mp3 file in File Explorer and it loads into Windows Media and plays just fine. However, if I click Menu > Update Library and do Search, it never finds and loads the library.

Any ideas on how to get WM10 to see my storage card mp3s again?

(I've tried soft reset, etc.)

Sounds like your library files might be corrupt.

Open up File Explorer, tap-and-hold on an empty space, and select "View All Files". Next, navigate to the root folder of your SD card, and delete the "MSMETADATA" and "WMDRM" folders. Then open up Windows Media and see if you can update your library again, and more importantly, play your music once it's updated.
