I am a little biased, but FeederReader is very good. FeederReader can get podcasts and videocasts and any other 'casts out there using the player of your choice. It works for just text feeds, too.

The number of options and flexibility is sometimes daunting to the new user. But I'm always at the FeederReader Forums to answer any questions.

Hi John. I've listed some of the more popular RSS applications here. (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=364625#364625) It's also worth checking out the list of nominees for the recent Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Awards - http://www.pocketpcmag.com/awards/category_2005.asp?catid=40#NewsReaders

I use NewsBreak. Although I have not used the others listed in the referenced thread, I will say I am satisifed with NewsBreak. You can install it in SafeStore (aka BIS) if you want to and you can direct channel data to an SD card.

There is a trial period for the full version and a free version that limits you to five feeds. www.iliumsoft.com

I currently use Egress (http://www.garishkernels.net/egress.html).
