Is there a way to add items to the Start Menu? For instance, I would like to add an icon for Windows Media Player in the Start Menu right under the "Today" icon. I thought I could just go into the My Pocket PC-->Windows-->Start Menu and copy the Windows Media shortcut into that. It doesn't seem to be working, however. Any suggestions from the more experienced Pocket PC users for a newb?

Go to Start > Settings > Menus, and from there, you can configure the items that you want in the start menu. Note that you can only have 7 shortcuts listed (a limitation which exists due to the size of the menu itself). The procedure you outlined also works, but due to the 7-shortcut limitation, it will only grab the first seven listed in the folder.

Thank you! I guess I just need to play around with it some more.

You can only have 7 icns in the Start Menu not counting Today. I moved Activesync to Programs and then moved WMP to Start Menu and it worked fine. The method Darius described is how you're really supposed to do it though.
