Alerts and Reminders

Is it possible to set the alerts or reminders in jam with any notification sound / ringtone or vibration? I tried to set the reminders but it only displays the upcoming appointments but never gives any alert or reminder.

How can I set any notification sound or ringtone with the reminder / alert?

All of that should be controllable via Sounds (and, sometimes, Phone) in Control Panel.
