I tried HP Parts, they gave me a part number, but told me the part was not available for order. I called my Account Rep and he was able to order using the same exact part number. The part is called a 'plastic kit' which includes the plastic doors AND the bottom feet. Needless to say, some ID 10T at HP decided to remove the rubber feet from this kit and never took it out of the description. The result: 3 boxes with 2 plastic doors and still NO rubber feet.
Aside from tearing one off the bottom of one in the store, where can I find rubber feet for this notebook (zd8000)?
BTW my account rep told me I could send in the notebook for repair to replace the 1 rubber foot necesssary?!? Please HP, get a clue; first the 4705 upgrade pushed out to 2006 and now this. I guess customer support is the newest oxymoron!
