Bluetooth receivers usually end up being a better option for most people. The new SIRF III chipset found in most of the latest BT receivers is much better than anything you will find in SD. SD receivers are also a battery drain on the PPC. Plus if your device only has an SD slot you have to be able to keep very large map files on the device, which is usually a problem. If you are thinking of the portability of walking or hiking with an SD receiver, the SIRF III chips work fine in your pocket.
