Voice Recognition

As part of a university project, I want to be able to ask a user to speak into a PocketPC and then test to see if the user said the correct thing.

Is there a tool out there that I could use for this? Is there an API for MS Voice Command that could be used for this? Any other comments/suggestions?

I know that you could easily do it for desktop with the Windows Speech API (SAPI) but there is know way of doing it to my knowlage on a PPC. The only way that I could think of doing it would be to recond it into notes use this tool (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=351079) and then use the SAPI on the desktopto work it out.
