Have had this a number of nonths and I really love it. Problem: Is there a hack or some way to keep it from turning on randomly when it is off? Very annoying. I had the same problem with the i-Mate version.

Are you sure it's not some software you have installed? I've had mine for a long time now and never had it just turn on randomly.
I would have thought faulty hardware but since it happened with your imate as well it sounds like a software thing.
