Hi I'm Sunny. I own a HP iPAQ 2215.

I'm a VB programmer. I want to know if there is some way to make apps for my pocket pc by using Microsoft Visual Studio(not .net). I only know Microsoft Visual Basic(not VB .Net).

Thanks for the replies.

Best Regards,
SUNNY :)

YES, you can Develop Pocket PC Applications with MS eMbedded Visual Basic (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/_archives/Nov01/eVB.asp?404=was) and you can download it from the Microsoft Download Center (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=f663bf48-31ee-4cbe-aac5-0affd5fb27dd&displaylang=en).

You should know that the OS from WM2003 onwards don't support VB or eVB natively.

The simple answer is no, VB6 cannot be used to make PPC applications.

The simple answer is no, VB6 cannot be used to make PPC applications.

The code should however be relativly compatible with eVB. But PPC 2003+ devices will need to download some runtimes.
