Skype over Verizon EVDO

hey now -

i am thinking about getting one of these new samsung i730s. anyone have any experience running skype on a PPCPE on Verizon's EVDO network?

if so, how does it perform? how about SkypeIn or SkypeOut?

I'm in Florida and I have VZW unfortunately in a 1XRT area, and for a long time have used skype on PC. When I tried it on my xv6600, it simply bottomed out on both incoming and outgoing. Now when I traveled to Orlando, FL which has EV-DO, SkypeOut worked quite well, when calling to phone lines. As for connections to PC, as long as they have broadband its alright.
