View Full Version : "Memos" equivalent for Pocket PC?

Hey all,

As sort of an addendum to my discussion with Cap'n in the previous thread, I was wondering if there is a "Memos" type program for the Pocket PC, something to store and organize quick pieces of text. Of course, I admit that my Palm-oriented brain might not have made the transition to PPC yet, and I could easily just organize "memos" by using a file folder and subfolders. Am I right? (on either point?)

Cheers,

JG

Phatnotes and Phatpad from www dot phatware dot com.

Best notes program hands down! I've used it for probably 6 years now.

I almost agree with you, however, I wish they would synch with Outlook.

Umm, what are you talking about? Phatnotes DOES sync with outlook:

Phatpad doesn't, but that's not the same kind of app as a text-based notetaker like Outlook.

My pleasure! I love Phatware; they are very responsive to suggestions for improving their software, and have made changes to Phatnotes to suit my needs. Best software for my PPC that I own.

The Pocket PC has a built-in Notes program that does similar stuff to Memos on the Palm and syncs with Outlook Notes through ActiveSync outta-the-box.
