Pocketland.de, the leading software site for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile Smartphones in Germany, has announced the release of its City Map Service in English at its new English site, pocketland.net.
The PDA City Map Service, or "PDA Stadtplandienst" in German, provides
users with quick-loading, high-resolution maps of hundreds of German cities. The extremely popular application has sold tens of thousands of copies in Germany and is now available for the first time in English.
Visitors to Germany will find the application to be a great navigational aid. Important landmarks and places of interest are featured, in addition to a street and address look-up. The application also includes GPS support, allowing the display of current map position when coupled with a GPS-enabled PDA.
