Taskbar software?

Hiya folks,

Can anyone recommend me some good taskbar software for the Pocket PC series of phone. I used to have a P900 and now I changed to a Xda IIi. Big leap up in terms of functionality but I see the system restarts are the norm in this device too.

Now there was this good freeware program called SMAN for the Symbian OS based phones. Is there a program equivalent for Windows Pocket Series?

Now I both tried Wisbar and Magic Bar. Magic Bar seems to the better of the latter. But I noticed sometimes they don't close everything. For example if I go into my phone dialer and back out again, the phone dialer is still left in the task bar and they both refuse to close the program.


As with the P900 why don't they include the functionality is behind belief :evil:

Have you tried Spb Pocket Plus? (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en) It's an excellent task manager, which actually provides all sorts of other functionalities as well. The other program is WisBar Advance. (http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/) You mentioned you tried WisBar, but I was assuming you meant the original one. WisBar Advance offers skinning support, and they also upgraded their program to support Pocket PC Phone Edition devices, so you may want to check it out.
