In Dec I bought a Ipaq 2755
In april I called Ipaq about a unrelated problem and the tec asked me if I had some foreign material around the sync port. I did. Since that was the way I received it, I thought hp would fix it under warranty . Boy was I Wrong . It Cost me $ 80.00. any one have similar problems.
Thanks
Sterling

Well, here's the thing -- if there is foreign material, they can argue that you were responsible for placing it there and caused physical damage to the device. If you read the warranty closely they're exempt from situations like that. Did you make it clear to them the device shipped as that? And what was the foreign material, exactly?
