Restore Advice Please ?

I have had to hard reset my Imate Jam - I have tried to restore my latest backup from my PC using activsync - but I get an error message stating the backup was designed for a different type of device - I dont understand - why wont it work ?

Have you upgraded your ROM since you last backed up? Cross-ROM backup/restore jobs aren't advised, and the ActiveSync backup solution isn't what I'd call stellar.

Are you sure your device has exactly the same area settings than before? AS won't restore backups if they differ.
