Long time readers - help me find an old post re: input???

Does anyone hear remember a guy that came on and said he had some revoutionary text input idea. Somewhat hardware based from what I can remember. He said he was looking for backers and would invest some of his old money if he had the right connections.
Ring any bells? I can't seem to find it and wanted to see if it went anywhere.
