Some help with ActiveSync, Please!

For some reason, my Pocket PC always disconnect from the desktop a few seconds after I connect it. I've been having problem like this for months. However, the problem became more frequent and now I can't connect to the desktop at all. I just recently switch to ActiveSync 4.0. Though, I also have the same problem with version 3.8. What's happening? :cry:

What software/conduits do you have installed? I had a problem similar to yours when I installed JournalSync on my newer iPAQ. Removed it and have been relatively trouble free since (as trouble free as ActiveSync can be).

Well, the only extra software I installed is 4.0Student.

This can be the issue of the firewall or antivirus installed on the computer.
Try to do the clean boot if you are using the windows xp computer.
If it works afer clean boot then we can make sure there is some software which is comflicting with activesync software. :)
