basically i am trying to make ringtones and sounds for my incoming sms messages and emails..... well my phone is hp 6315 which uses .wav and wma files for ringtones and just .wav for sms sounds and etc. My thing is the small .wma files they have on their is really loud but i cant get my .wav files and .wma files to be the loud and clear.... i have been playing with the volume control on sound forge 8 but its still not coming out loud and clear.... is there anything else i can use on that software or is there another software that is specifically built for this kind of stuff???????????

Load your WAV files back in Sound Forge, and let the peaks build. Once that is done, select Process > Normalize, and the best thing to do would be to conduct an "Average" analysis rather than a "Peak" analysis. That should increase the volume of your WAV files. Hit OK to accept the changes, and then save your file. :)
