I don't buy it. ;) This guy hasn't programmed enough in higher-level languages like Java or C# -- he's tossing out buzzwords and trite examples in his argument. Sure, small programs are going to be similar between C and C#/Java, but once you get more complicated, I've personally found it makes a big difference.
