(note: major newbie, please explain everything in simplest way you can.)

We use Novell Groupwise at my office. I use it only for email, though it has calendar and contacts features. I have my contacts and calendar in Palm desktop, and now want to get that data onto my PPC and start using it, but here's the catch: I cannot use Outlook.

According to the IT people at my office, they do *not* support Outlook and installing causes conflict w/ Groupwise, even if OL is not designated for email. I read around and didn't see any reports of Groupwise/Outlook problems, so went around IT and installed Outlook anyway. They were right, it makes the computer freeze. So now I am looking for some type of software where I can get my calendar and contacts from Palm and can sync w/ PPC. Anyone been in this situation? Ideas?

I guess I could keep Outlook on my computer at home and only sync there, but I spend a lot of time scheduling things at work, so giving up the possibility of any desktop calendar at work would be too big of a sacrifice.

Help! Thanks in advance!

Try Intellisync at http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry17c?CID=187952&PN=5&SP=10007&SID=43465&PID=467279&API1=65&API2=OVERTURE&API3=intellisync&API4=Search&API5=search.msn.com&DSP=&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=187952

I had a similar question recently as we use GW and not OL.

Currently using a product from Novell called GW PDA Connect. It seems to work for calendar and email. See http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tip/15826.html

The issue I am having now is trying to figure a convenient way to move memos from my Palm to the PPC.

Any ideas?
