I noticed while browsing over to Tiny Stock's website that seemingly without any fanfare, they've released a major upgrade to version 3 of Navio (http://www.tinystocks.com/gps.html).

I was going to post what's new since the last release, v2.3, but it's just too much. It looks to be a nicely featured package and would appear to give established software like OziExplorer and the award-winning Vito Navigator II a run for their money. I love the idea of Navio's Today screen plugin. I don't know how useful that would be; perhaps it just appeals to the nerd in me.

Any Navio users here? Do you like it and have you compared it to other GPS software?

You really should submit (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/submit.php) this as news. ;)

I'll have it on the front page within the next few hours. :)

Ooops... wasn't sure how important it was. Did a search of the PPCT forums on "Navio" and hardly anyone mentions it!

Unless some other user comments first I might give it a try and do a mini review against OziExplorer and the Vito product. Goodness know when that might happen though, and as Jonathon points out, a 5 minute trial of Navio? What the...?
