However, it seems as though Australian company, Krome, also have one of these devices up their sleeves. Possessing an exact structural look as the VPA Compact Mini, it appears as though the Krome Spy sports a darker casing than its counterpart, but then again, a Flash presentation never does justice to the actual look of the product. I'm willing to bet that it is coloured the same as the VPA Compact Mini, and the only difference between the two is the branding. The Krome website doesn't have much in terms of details, but there is a quick ten second Flash presentation on their front page if you're interested. I'll keep you posted when more information comes in.

I wonder if it has MS Reader built into the ROM - I have the MDA Compact and it took me several double takes before I realised it wasn't there - also not included on support CD - had to download and install myself into RAM! Weird!

I took a look at their website. Here's a quote from their "About us" page.

"Krome devices allow all of the functionality of a Windows PC, combined with the lifestyle elements of a high end mobile phone."

"all of the functionality of a Windows PC" seems like a claim that is bound to get them into trouble.

We Aussies do like to BS :devilboy: quite a bit now don't we.

Cheers.
