Does it support VGA?

Actually it is now version 3.60 I think... but the problem is that it does not seem to have an off button. I like a lot of the features it offers... such as the fading in and out of songs... but... I would ideally like to be able to skin it... as well as turn the application off when I was done.

You can also place the it on your Today Screen.

And yes this latest version will run in VGA.

I will try it again. I just hate that pixelated look

Not that I ever wanna turn it of, lol. I hate the missing exit button. I have to use my iPAQ Menu button to expose Wisbar to kill it. It was bad enough that they hid it in the options menu.

If you manage to skin this program, it would be way cool if you could stick the exit button somewhere on the skin.

Good luck!

Mike

I usually turn it off by tapping in the clear space just beside 'Stereo' in the top right corner. This brings up the menu from which you can select 'Exit' at the bottom. There is also the miniscule X button beside www.pocketmind.com at the very top right, but this is sometimes difficult to see/activate.

I don't see any of that on mine. Are you using the default skin?

LOL. I cant even find out how to exit either. I remember before the update I could exit when I was trying it. But I think I may just stick to Pocket Player. :D Looks better. Unless someone makes a nice VGA skin.

The exit function was removed from the menu in the lastest version... I have no idea who the brainchild for this idea was... but it makes for a reason "NOT" to use this application in my opinion.

I agree... wonder whose dumb idea that was? Unless it's some new Microsoft 'standard' that applications can no longer have any kind of 'exit' option -- they have to leave it to the O/S to determine when to shut down an app.

Losing the exit on 3.6 is totally barking.

I minimize it and your WisBar to shut it down.

I've used Pocket Music since 1.x, and was happily using 3.2 on my i-mate JAM. However, upgrading to 3.6 has been a disaster. Trying to play back the same .wma files that have always played fine previous to 3.6 results in unidentifiable choppy bits of sound - completely unusable. I've tried a hard reset and the behavior continues with a fresh install. I really don't want to pay another $20 to get Pocket Player...what happened here???

I mean, the app appears to have installed just fine. I've played with all kinds of settings to make the thread priority higher, etc., but aside from the fact that it should work the same as 3.2 without me having to change a bunch of stuff, nothing has helped.

I've also found PocketMind to have very poor support. I've asked them about gapless playback before and volunteered to send them files which show that it still doesn't work, and received no response.

V3.7 been released - by stealth as their webpage hasn't been updated:

From an email that I got from Pocketmind:
"What's new in version 3.7:

- WAV files playback (both PCM and ADPCM types supported)

- Support for the new Audible Manager

- "Pause playback on incoming call" feature for Windows Mobile Phone Edition devices

- Improved performance on Hi-Res devices and Windows Mobile Second Edition devices

- Improved performance for Gapless mode

- Other minor features added; bugs fixed
"
And guess what they've put the exit back in! Hurrah!

Download it from: http://www.pocketmind.com/files/pmusic.exe

I'm not trying to spoil everyone's happiness here, but wasn't there a horror story on their customer service not long ago over registration?
