Hi.

One of the things that i don't like about Pocket PCs is the unusefulnelss of the Internet Explorer Startpage.

So, a few days ago i downloaded a version of My Startpage. In essence it is just another Startpage to be used with PIE, but this one's much more useful than the one that comes with PIE.

It's just plain HTML, so it's really easy to edit and that's what i did.

I made two versions of it: VGA and QVGA (compatible with every pocket PC avaliable!) .

I'll post them here if you want to try them out.

Hope will find them as useful as i do.

cheers

Here's some photos of the VGA version:

other content (http://discuss.pocketnow.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=55966)
even more content (http://discuss.pocketnow.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=55967)

And this one is the homepage on QVGA.

As you can see it's basically a site withing the Pocket PC.
Preety cool.

Both files are up for grabs at PocketNow:

2 - VGA Version (http://discuss.pocketnow.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=55963)

Nice, but I often connect via GPRS, which is expensive in the UK. Therefore I often surf with pictures off. My startpage is text only, which also makes it more re-sizable on any resolution.

Nice one! I had the wireless version of ESPN.com as my home but this is miles more flexible.
