But, it only works with the Microsoft bluetooth stack. All of my pocket pcs have the Widcomm stack.

That's a killer for me. afaik all my devices (iPaq, dongle, keyboard, mouse, phone) all use the Widcomm stack.

When I need the BT radio, I turn it on. When I am done, I turn it off. It's that simple. I never leave ANY radio, BT or WiFi, on when I don't need it. Automating it is only needed if your the type that just has to have the radios on all the time.

I think PocketZenPhone does the same thing, and there is a free version of it. The only thing that this one does is change it by day.

I use (registered) PocketZenPhone with my PPC Phone Edition too and you're right it also handles the Bluetooth among all the other functions that are configurable per profile (there are also a couple of competing apps which PPCThoughts had also posted on, a recent one of which as I recall is also able to turn on/off the Bluetooth?).

I admit though there was a learning curve to PocketZenPhone (but I should probably have studied up on it from xda-developers.com forum). For example it wasn't readily apparent what each of these Volume Settings are:
- System Volume
- Phone Volume (apparently ring volume)
- Speaker Volume (apparently phone handset &amp; hands-free speaker volumes?)

And under Radio/Bluetooth Settings, "Radio" refers to the cellular and not the Wi-Fi (there's no setting to turn on/off the Wi-Fi)...

i would really love for a pocket pc version that can do this.. also a schedule for screen brightness would be nice.. i remember seeing a similar product once but can't remember where.
