I just got a Nokia NgageQD for my wife and since i'm getting into symbian OS (The NgageQD runs Symbian Series 60 OS) have a few questions that I hope someone can answer...

Is it possible to have "today plugins" kinda tings on the Series 60 platform? I would love to find an app like pocket breeze for the series 60 that displays the day's appointments and tasks in the main screen

there is no smbianthoughts.com... are there plans for one?

that about it for now.. thanks

On your original question..
You can't have Today plug-ins in the Windows Mobile devices sense. You do, however, get "Today replacements" (or whatever they're called).

Off the top of my head, there's the two Cibenix Apps ActiveToday http://www.cibenix.com/consumer/activetoday/nokia60/index.html and ActiveDesk
http://www.cibenix.com/consumer/activedesk/nokia60/index.html. I actually bought one of these for my Nokia 7650 waaay back. Another one I bought was something called (I think) One2day, but I can't find a trace of it at the moment. There are many others, though, each with their own quirks.

As for good news sites. I can only vouch for the two that I used to read daily:
All about Symbian, http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/
My-Symbian, http://my-symbian.com/main/index.php
Both had (have) quite active forum activity as well.
