MP3's for ringtones?????

i dunno mp3, but wav... yes. definately. what i do is; convert my mp3 files to wav by asoftware called noteM that i downloaded from here.http://www.freewareppc.com/multimedia/notem.shtml

I'm not 100% sure because I don't have one, but it SHOULD be able to use WMA or WAV as ringtones...the user-interface for selecting and finding them is another matter however. :roll:

WAV files are HUGE when they are converted from MP3. From a google search, it doesn't appear that you can use MP3 ringtones on the h6315. I can on my XDA II Mini, but it is a different device.

You cant use mp3's but WMA's work great. I use Windows Media player to sync the files over to the handheld but first I change the settings to compress the file by doing this it will covert any MP3 to WMA and your set.
