This was posted by Picard, over at Aximsite. He's the one that wrote BetaPlayer (new version 0.5b supports headphone buttons).
Well, he posted a little registry hack which will make all the buttons on the HP Bluetooth headphone actually work. Just did the registry change and now I can switch tracks and pause/play from the headphones. Here's the hack as Picard wrote it.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows Media Player\Parameters keys should point to the original skin files (like the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ Skins). And you have to modify the wmp10 skins to have 'play' button. Duplicate the "PlayPauseStop" lines in the .skn files as "PlayPause" button."
