Hi - I did a search and didn't see a appropriate topic so here it is...

I have a an iPaq H3955, PPC 2002. I have the double PC card/battery expansion sleeve also. I have no PC cards for it.

question is what is the best way to go WiFi.

Ideally it would be to just get a WiFi PC card but I cannot find any compatible with PPC 2002. In fact I cant seem to find any compatible with PPC 3002.

so what are other workable options? Get a CF card adapter and a CF WiFi Card that's compatible with PPC 2002?

Upgrade to PPC 2003 and find a compatable PC card? Who makes one?

thanks for an advice

I decided to upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003 anyway.
Haven't got a card yet.

I'm leaning toward the SD card.

are there good experiences with that?

I have this one and it is great with my XDA II Mini. You should have no probs using it with your iPAQ, and you won't need a bulky expansion pack for CF/PCMCIA!

w00t!

I ended up getting the Sandisk Compact Flash WiFi + 128 Mb card, which came with the PC card adapter.

it took all of 3 minutes to set up from opening the package to being connected.

I went with this option because I figured, why wasted the perfectly good expansion sleeve? I've only been using it as an extended battery.

:rock on dude!:

Great! The extra battery life would be good too! wifi can suck some juice, although i have not had any battery life probs (aka. short life) when using wifi on my pocket pc phone. with both phone and wifi, i figured it would sink like a stone, but it doesn't. i get 4 good hrs with wifi and phone on!

Congrats on your purchase. have fun!!
