I'm looking for a notebook for my wife. I'm not too particular about the specifications with the exception that it must have 802.11g. All she will ever do with this thing is surf and possibly check her email. I'm hoping for something with respectable battery life (2 - 3 hours), decent processor (1.5Ghz+), decent RAM (256MB+), and I would prefer that it run XP. Here's the kicker - I don't want to pay more than $500. I can get a new machine that meets these requirements for $650 but if someone has a machine that they would rather turn into a little cash I would be willing to hear about it.
