http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/

One of my very favorite 'Net blogs is Akihabara News -- Daimaou and company have been working very hard the last few years in bringing us the latest and greatest news from all over Japan, with a heavy emphasis on mobile and lifestyle devices. My biggest nit was that the site was predominantly French -- there were some English translations, but they were sporadic, and I never learned French in high school.

Anyway, they've now launched an all-English site, complete with an all-English feed. If you've been tempted to check out the site but held off because of the language barrier, you don't have to any more. :D And if you've never heard of the site but are interested in gadgets, I strongly suggest you check it out (as long as you're prepared to cry a little over what we don't get here. ;))

Awesome news.

I love that site. Now I can do more than just cry over the pretty pictures!

Amen,

I've done a few news posts from them for DMT and it was always a few extra steps over a regular post to do one from them because you could not copy/paste a quote from the page since the english translation was just a pop-up bubble. I started just copying directly out of the html to get around this, but still an extra step.
