Greetings,

I am looking for a task switcher that I can use my hardware keys with. Such as cycle through open apps by pushng the "Home" button. Rather than having to use stylus to change apps. Does such a thing exist? I am aware I could bind certain apps to the hardware buttons but I use a lot of different apps..

Thanks

You can grab a hold of PHM Keys (http://www.phm.lu/products/pocketpc/Keys/) (freeware) which has a Task Switch command. It can be mapped to any hardware button.

You can grab a hold of PHM Keys (http://www.phm.lu/products/pocketpc/Keys/) (freeware) which has a Task Switch command. It can be mapped to any hardware button.

In addition, if you don't want to install PHM Keys in its entirety (for simple task switching, it may be an overkill), you can also put the single 6-kbyte AltTab.exe, also from the same author, in your \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and assign it to a hardware key from Settings/Buttons manually.

Unfortunately, AltTab.exe is no longer available from the PHM site (I don't know why it's not offered any more as a separate download - the old link was http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/Other.ARM/AltTab.exe ), but, if you still have it around or on some old CD of yours, it may be a better choice with far less memory requirements than installing PHM Keys.

See for example http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/printview.php?t=13214 for more info.
