Software to keep backlight on.

I have a Pocket PC that I use in the car to play mp3s and audio blogs. It's constantly powered via a cigarette lighter adapter. I want the backlight to remain on, but the longest it can be set at is 5 minutes. Is there software that will overide this behavior and keep the backlight on indefinitely?

Yu should be able to uncheck the box nest to the dim function turning it off completely. Whch device and OS are you using?

WM2003, you're right. as soon as i unchecked that box, my backlight stays on. thanks.

Note that most, though not all, PPCs have independent settings for battery power and on external power. You could be able to set the backlight on full and never shut off while on a charger, and set it to half bright with a couple minute timeout on battery.
