Anyone used it? Any good with the IPAQ 2210?

Also--can it also be used with other Bluetooth devices--Bluetooth phones, for instance?

Other brands, besides the HP? (I'm not too hot on the ThinkOutside Stowaway version, as that has no number row.)

It'll work with older / non-HP PDA's too.

The Chainpus BT keyboard (a.k.a. Smart, Brando, etc.) works with PocketPCs, Palms, and Symbians. I am using it with my iPaq 2210 and Nokia 3650. Stay away from HP.

Problems with the battery life. See the above link.

BTW, I think it's MUCH better than the Brando/Chainpus keyboard. If it had a better battery life...

I was very pleased with mine until last week when I pulled it out and the batteries were toast.
I only used it one or twice before that.
It was pretty embarassing as I am a consultant and one of my clients had to go get me some batteries from their company stock.
I didn't even know there may be a problem until I read this thread.
I was dumbfounded.
I am going to pull the batteries between usage now.

Perhaps this question should be in a new thread, but I'll ask it here, somewhat related.

Can a Bluetooth-enabled device be connected to two different Bluetooh peripherals at one time?

For instance, if I was typing on my IPAQ 2210 with one of the Bluetooth keyboards, such as those discussed here, and I wanted to connect the IPAQ to the Internet, using a Bluetooth phone as a modem. Can it be so connected, while using the Bluetooth keyboard for text input? (In other words, the IPAQ would be connected to the Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth phone at the same time.)

Is that possible?

Yes that is possible. You could also be connect to your PC via AS and to a BT GPS, while using the HP BT headphones at the same time too. The key is that you typically cannot use the same profile twice, and all those connections use different profiles. The AS and GPS connections both use serial profiles, but it seems most implementations do allow more than one of these as different virtual serial ports.
