I've a Dell x50v. Whenever in landscape mode, the display looks a bit funny to me. It turns out each of my eyes are seeing slightly different image. But that's how the eyes work to give you depth perception you say? Sure, sure. Problem is, one of my eyes see the image a shade darker than the other. It confuses the hell out of me. As a result I don't use landscape mode. I think it is due to the nature of LCD display. I've notice a similar effect when trying to view an LCD display that's rotated 90 degrees.

Anyone else experience this on their devices? Do I need to go for an eye exam?

Nope, your eyes are perfectly OK. It's just that the screen visibility does change over different view angles - no wonder your eyes do see different images.

Deslock at http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35630&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20 mentioned this too. Furthermore, you may want to read the discussion of the A730 screen (which has exactly the same problem) over at PM: http://www.pocketmatrix.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20577
