Is it possible for me to receive my Yahoo Mail on my ipaq 2215. If so how can I set it up. I don't have wireless. Would just do it via active sync. I don't know the smpt, etc. Thanks

Here are the server info for the Canada version of Yahoo mail

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.ca
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.ca

I've set up an account in the Inbox application, and can access during ActiveSync or wirelessly.

I think you have to pay for an extra level of service to use POP to retrieve Yahoo mail though. If you're on Free Yahoo! mail, you can't do it...

Yes, you do need the extra paid service from Yahoo for POP3 access. Inbox on a PPC cannot access the web-based free Yahoo service.

If Yahoo is your content provider via your dial up or DSL internet service provider, you may have access to your account through POP. For instance, SBC subscribers get Yahoo content and email as part of their internet service subscription. You can view the settings for SBC users by going to http://support.sbcglobal.net/article.php?item=287. Perhaps the settings listed will allow you to determine your own settings, provided, of course, that you're not on the free Yahoo Mail as previously cited.

I found this -

Not sure how good it is but its a start.

Another option is Google Mail. Gmail is still free, and they've just opened up a POP3 capability.

But with Gmail, you'd better make sure you don't wanna use it on any other machines. You can only retrieve Gmail POP on one device / computer.
