Does anyone know if there's a program similiar to Claunch for Windows XP?

I've started searching through google, (oh the joys of figuring out what it would be listed as... Desktop enhancement? Productivity? Utility? Screensaver :)?), but any immediate suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shortcuts on your desktop?

I'm not sure how much of a need for this there is - you want one click vs. double click access?

You can use the quicklaunch bar in the task bar.. I do use that for my often used apps.

Shortcuts on your desktop?

Yes, isn't this pretty much the exact same thing?

It's not one click vs two clicks, it's more of a clean up utility.

We have several card games, mahjong games, music programs and editing programs that are grouped together as desktop shortcuts, but I'd like to get something that looks and acts like Claunch-that will allow me to put several similiar programs together under a named tab, able to access them with one click (guess it is a one vs two click issue :) ), while otherwise hiding the groups. This would clean up the desktop a bit while still letting us access the shortcuts quickly.

Quick Lauch doesn't really work, we usually have several things open at once-itunes, word, thunderbird, firefox, etc, and that cuts down on available taskbar space.

Frankly, I'm not sure a XPClaunch would work out, but I'd certainly like to try it :)

Check out Free Launch Bar - www.freelaunchbar.com

It expands the quick launch bar at the bottom of the screen to add multiple icons for each item on the toolbar.

You can have large icons with or without text in multiple columns and even replace the icons with PNG animations.

I've used the commercial True Launch Bar for the last few years but the FREE version does everything I need as I never bothered with all the plug-ins.
