What do you with your old pocket pc and you buy a replacement?

I guess it depends on the age and condition of the "old unit". On ebay, you never know. I don't know many who throw them away, unless it's broken. We just let them pile up in drawers! :D

if it's in good condition, I'd pop it on ebay and see what you get for it.
The last one I had wasn't in the best condition, so I gave it to a family member who wanted one.....

Ebay it man... Even the broken PDAs.

I sell all my old PDAs on Ebay. I even had an older PDA with a broken screen that still worked .. but just had a broken screen so I sold it for about 40 bucks. It was an older PDA that I wasn't ever gonna use or fix and I already had a new one, so I sold it. Rather have 40 bucks than nothing.

definitely ebay even really old PDAs often have a following or it might just be a case of somebody wantig a spare. I always try ebay with any of my old gadget stuff (except my Newtons - of course :!: ) and am often suprised at the price I get.

I just keep them. I'm a lover of old technology and I love collecting / keeping old(er) computers - this is one of the reasons. Furthermore, it's always cool to have one or two (fairly) recent backup devices in case my most recent one breaks down.

I usually keep mine, but thats because I want test platforms for programs I'm writing. I find it nice to have an actual device to test things on as emulators aren't always 100% perfect.
