I have one of the t-mobile pocket pcs running rom version 4.01.16 using activesync 3.8 and having connectivity issues. It used to work quite a while ago.
I orginially had version 3.7.1 and back some time ago it used to work.
I had not been syncing in a long time and decided to try it to no avail.
When it failed to connect ie it kept dropping the connection. I tried upgraded to 3.8.
the problem seems similiar to what was posted here

Except activesync is not letting me change any of the component. All options are not available in the menus for removing or changing the components.
so activesync is running I put the device in the cradle connected via usb XP finds the device activesync seems to start and then does nothing else. If I try to initiate activesysnc through the device and it says I must establish a partnership on the pc. all of the configurable settings seem ok.
I am really stumped on this one. Any thoughts from anyone on possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
