Pocketpcthoughts is incredibly slow today

From the UK this website has been incredibly slow, with pages taking minutes to load (on two different networks and ISP's)

Is it under DDOS attacks?

Thanks for the heads-up. I identified this problem about 9 hours ago - it's definitely not region-specific as I've been experiencing the lags in Australia too. Anyway, we'll look into it.

Yea, slow as molasses in January here in Ohio last night, today its fast as usual. Took me 25 minutes to post the 63xx ROM story for this morning - which only increased my aggravation with T-Mobile!

I saw this last night, and logged in on the server. It wasn't being DDOSed per se; the machine's load was hovering around 1. There was an unusual number of httpd processes. Anyway, I was too tired to debug it last night, and hoped it'd go away by itself, which it appears is exactly what happened. Not sure why this happened. If I have more details, I'll report back.

Well I am pleased to say that whatever was wrong seems to have been fixed! Service is back to normal for me at least.
