Has anyone used this app?? I tried it out and it's a great simple app for organising your standard notes with an explorer style layout with folders, hierarchy and auto-naming of new notes. The problem is it is a little flaky with empty folders going missing and no rename option for folders etc.
Does anyone know of a similar app that does all this as this is almost perfect - especially given that it is free?

Try out Pocket Notepad at http://tillanosoft.com/ce/pnotepad.html

It's another free text note program that works with tgetfile.dll (also downloadable free from the site) that allows it to recognize any subdirectory on your PPC. You'll have to use your file explorer to set up the directory system you want, it won't create directories within the notepad, but the notepad itself is rock solid.

That militant groundhog has been floating around the internet for a few years now. I can't remember where I first downloaded it, but I did a search on Google images and found a version of it here:
