Activesync and Wifi

Hello everybody. I own a WiFi enabled ipaq 4150 (pretty old now). Would it be possible to synchronize it with my WiFi enabled Fujitsu-Siemens Laptop via Activesync?

Yes, set them up as "ad hoc" (as opposed to infrastructure), make sure they both have the same SSID (case sensitive!) and use the same channel (any). Disable Power Saving mode and WEP encryption until it all works.

Give the computer IP address 10.0.0.2/255.255.255.0 and the PPC 10.0.0.3/255.255.255.0 and set WINS on the PPC to 10.0.0.2 (not sure if this is always necessary).

Tick the File/COnnection settings/Allow Network...

Now it should all just work. :) Unless I have forgotten something.

Thanks for the reply. Still, I'm afraid I didn't understand it (never worked on wifi before). Maybe a simpler approach would let me just synchronize?

Your 4150 probably has zero config in which case you are in luck: http://www.foxpop.co.uk/ppc/page_07.htm - if not, the article eplains also for the PPC 2002 operating system.
