Ok, I remembered posting about this sometimes ago (forgot which board I made the post). So, if you find this question asked already, kindly bear with me.

I have this habit of ripping DVDs into MPEGs, using dvdx.
So everytime I want to play a DVD, instead of rumbling through the pile of physical DVD disk, all I need to do is to find the MPEG on my PC. Problem is, they completely filled up a 300 gigs harddrive.

What I want to do :
Store these MPEGs into DVD disk, and being able to play them on my DVD player.
I figure that I can store 4 or 5 MPEGs into a single DVD disk.
When I inserted the disc into a DVD player, there should be an opening menu where I can choose which movie I want to play.

A simple menu like this will do :
1. Troy
2. Alien Vs. Predator
3. Constantine
4. Machurian Candidate

If at all possible, I don't want to re-encode the mpegs (and waste hours in doing so. Tried DVD X Maker, but it always re-encode the movies.

Basically what I want to do is to run a DVD disk as a big VCD disk.

Is there anyway I can do this ?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe they're at digitalmediathoughts.com?

I didn't think DVD players could play mpeg files.

Actually yes. My samsung DVD can play VCD disk easily.

Just a hypothetical question :)
