Normally you only need to update a ROM if you are running into problems with your current software, or want to use a new feature available in the upgrade. For the I-Mate line of devices, you can find the ROM updates at http://www.clubimate.com. You'll need to create an account (Which you can do by using the IMEI number on your device). From there, visit the support section for your device and look for information on "Operating System for JAM". The direct link is Here (http://www.clubimate.com/index.asp?PageAction=DEVICE_JAM_UPD) however you'll have to login in first. The detailed installation instructions are available there.

thanks. i don't know why but i want to.

There is no need to update the JAM at this time, since the only ROM available is the original....there is no updated ROM as of yet. :)
